The main consideration for purchasing this palette is do you like pinks? Six shades in this palette are definitely pink. So if you enjoy the formula in the Tartelette palettes, I think you’ll be very happy with this palette. This palette performs very similar to the Tarte In Bloom palette. It’s a very light peachy/pink that doesn’t compete with the colorful pinks in the Juicy palette. I’ve been enjoying Tarte Festival Liquid Lipstick from my collection. This palette is going to play very nicely with pink and mauve toned lips. Maybelline City Mini palettes Downtown Sunrise and Blushed Avenue vs Tartelette Juicy Palette swatchesĪnd here is a slideshow of even more pictures I made of the palette and swatches that I really wanted to show you, but I know this post is getting really long with so many pictures. Link to Blushed Avenue at (I’m pretty sure this is an authorized seller because I followed a link directly from the Maybelline site to get to this Amazon page, but be careful buying makeup on Amazon!). (I’ve seen them in my Walmart and Walgreens stores as well, they’re pretty widely available, but finding the exact color version you’re looking for can be a bit of a challenge!). The City Mini palettes retail for $7.59 each at Target. These City Mini palettes have been on the market for a long time, so you might already have them in your collection. I swatched the shade Orchid from the Juicy palette twice because there was a very similar shade in each of the City Mini palettes. If you have both of these City Mini’s, then you basically have the whole Juicy palette! The Blushed Avenue palette gives you a deep purple matte which the Juicy palette lacks. The lighter one is “Downtown Sunrise” and the deeper one is “Blushed Avenue”. As you can see, either one of the Maybelline City Mini palettes shown below has a striking similarity to the Tartelette Juicy palette. Next up is a really good option for a drugstore dupe. Tartelette Juicy Palette swatches (top/right) vs Bobbi Brown Nude Drama II swatches The shimmers range from light to deep which I also love. I love shimmer shadows, so this is a great mix for my personal tastes. We have six shimmers and six mattes (one includes micro sparkle – Luscious). Outer packaging – very reflective, see the fluffy white clouds and blue sky reflected in this image. These photos show the product from multiple angles and up close to give you a better idea of what this palette is all about. I’d love to have you join me on Instagram! Follow my account for lots of makeup content. Note: A lot of these images (plus video not shown here) appear on my Instagram first while I’m still formatting and writing the blog post. Anyway, let’s get started with all the pictures and thoughts! Tarte Tartlette Juicy retails for $39 and can be purchased both at Ulta and Sephora. I’ve swatched this palette by itself, swatched it next to similar palettes, and done a few eye looks to show you. This post contains a ton of product pictures, swatches, and eye looks for the Tarte Tartelette Juicy eyeshadow palette.
